Best memorial tree for a small garden in memory of my dog?
I lost my dog yesterday to cancer in his windpipe. I am totally gutted. He was 13 and was in a lot of pain so I’m glad I ended his suffering but just cant stop crying when I’m home alone. I keep expecting to see him hobbling in to see me. I have read the rainbow bridge poem which is very sweet but still makes me end up in tears. I have read an idea to plant a small tree in the garden as a memorial. The problem is I have a small garden and I’m not sure what I should go for that wont get too big. I’m going to buy a plaque to go next to it as well. Any help would be much appreciated. Shelley
Sorry I forgot to say I’m from england. Donno if I can get dogwood trees here?
Since you already have a small garden, I would just plant some flowers around the plaque. Snapdragons are also called “Dog flowers”.
