Advantages of Using Wood for Furniture
The modern style of using synthetic materials in many products are abundant and available in the market nowadays. And they are even designed to home furnishing and almost appear like original. Yet using natural and original materials are still famous and the choice of many. This kind of materials never fade as time goes by. Window shades and window blinds made of wood are still in and fashionable and with class.
Traditional style of decoration is still the preference by most of the people. Aside from being natural and original, the supply of wood is abundant so that you can make a design whatever style you like in wood.
A traditional style of room furnished it with wood perfectly match with a dark furniture and carpets.
An antique finish furniture like walnut and mahogany is very nice to see when paired with a dark shade of window blinds such as oak. Using a lighter color such as pine and cedar is not a good match and if possible should not be used.
One advantage also of using wood is that it can be combined with synthetic materials and the result will still look like original wood.
The style of a wood window blind can be adjusted to what position you like. You can twist or bend the slats into semi-closed position and the light rays that come inside the room will also follow the position of the blinds. This then adds a romantic view in the room.
Because of the growing and modern technology, window blinds, although traditional in style, some are already controlled by using a remote control. You can raise or lower the blinds or change the position the slats without a need for you to stand up and adjust it.
Window blinds made of wood is a traditional style but adjusting it with the use of remote control makes it modern.

Original Wood Question
What is the best way to get rid of paint on a deck and go back to its original wood? Please help!!?
It’s a horrible color and the paint is starting to flake off. I just want it to be stained a nice color.
Pressure wash it first. Don’t be scared to use a high powered one. A lot of times that will remove most of it. Then what little is left you can sand off.
Can anything remove the Rainbow Magic / Magic Pen markers from wood?
These markers are the ones that have the “white eraser” marker that either changes the color or erases the original color.
I bought them in the mall and my kids used them on our wooden table…. uh oh! Please help.
I have already tried water, vinegar, 409, glass cleaner…
it is a polished wood surface
Like I said, it’s polished wood. I am sure that those magic eraser would work, but it specifically says not to use on polished wood surfaces.
